Alamo Heights Presbyterian Church provides numerous mission opportunities to heed the instructions of Jesus and to be faithful and active disciples of Jesus Christ as we share the love of God with others.

Peru Mission Trip:
July/August 2018 – Dr. Harrison Bowes, AHPC Elder and ophthalmologist, will travel to Ayacucho, Peru with Medical Ministry International to perform cataract surgery and other treatments.eyeglassesonate eye glasses, and/or volunteer to be a part of this mission trip to serve the underprivileged of Peru.

Habitat for Humanity – www.habitatsa.org.
Steve Rutledge liaison; partnering with other churches and lower income San Antonio families to build modest and affordable housing.

Meals on Wheels – www.mowsatx.org
Steve Rutledge liaison; preparing and delivering hot, nutritious meals each weekday to homebound seniors living in Bexar County.

Christmas Angel Tree:
Christmas wish-list gifts written on paper “angels” placed on the Christmas Tree in Fellowship Hall during December. Volunteers remove an “angel” from the tree, purchase the specified gift, and return it to the church office. Volunteers wrap and deliver Christmas gifts to the collection center which will go directly to the child for whom the gift was purchased. The House of Neighborly Service and Presbyterian Children’s Home have been recipients in the past.

Panama Ministry – www.juntospodemos.com
AHPC sponsors Elizabeth Perry, church member, missionary, and teacher with Juntos Podemos, a Christian non-profit organization meeting the educational and spiritual needs in Curundu, one of the worst slums in Panama City.

Troop 809:
AHPC sponsors Troop 809, Boy Scouts of America

American Christian Taekwondo (ACTS):
Available for ages 4 through adult. ACTS offers superior training with a spiritual base helping the student to achieve discipline, self-confidence and strength building. Classes held Monday through Thursday at 4:30 p.m. & 5:30 p.m.

AHPC welcomes the following groups the use of our building for meetings:
